Beyond her writing endeavors, Frances is also a talented painter, finding solace and expression in her home art studio. Despite facing health challenges like a diagnosis of Parkinson's in 2016, Frances continues to channel her creativity into her art and writing.

Looking ahead, Frances Lyon is working on a series of books centered around the addiction-laden region of Shenandoah, Pennsylvania. Through her writing, Frances aims to shed light on the realities of addiction and offer hope and understanding to those who have faced similar challenges.
